Behemoth lived in the owner's yard, and when the owner decided to leave the country, he simply left Behemoth on the street...
Now a huge black cat lives in our shelter. This is a very kind, calm and affectionate cat who does everything sedately. He eats with pleasure, lies down with dignity, and you can pet and scratch him for hours. Sadly, previous owners didn't take care of Behemoth very well, and the cat wasn't vaccinated, so the poor guy has feline immunodeficiency virus and feline leukemia.
Viral immunodeficiency of cats is totally not dangerous for people and the rest of the animals, except of the other cats. That means that Behemoth can be the only one cat in the house. This disease is not a death sentence; a cat can live a long, rich life with proper care and attention. You can read more about this here: https://hatul-madan.org/blogs/FIV
