When we took this cat, which came to us from Kherson, out of the carrier, we immediately realized that her name was Lucky.
Our "luck" has feline immunodeficiency virus, has no tail, lacks piece of ear, and has quite a bit of dental problems.
All this does not prevent Lucky from enjoying life, setting an example for all of us. This is a very gentle and kind cat, human-oriented. She loves soft treats, at the sight of which she is ready to destroy her own box with delight.
Viral immunodeficiency of cats is totally not dangerous for people and the rest of the animals, except of the other cats. That means that Lucky can be the only one cat in the house. This disease is not a death sentence; a cat can live a long, rich life with proper care and attention. You can read more about this here: https://hatul-madan.org/blogs/FIV
