In the summer of 2022, an elderly woman in Bakhmut took pity on an unfortunate elderly dog and started feeding him. She and Partizan survived as best they could, two on the front line. Fortunately, volunteers managed to take them out.

When Partizan first arrived, his ribs were sticking out. He almost did not react to anything - the guy can barely see and hear almost nothing. At first, he just lay there, not responding to anything. He was taken outside separately from other dogs.

But love, treatment, and lots of good food do the trick. Partizan walks, and communicates with other dogs and people. The dog trainer at the shelter says that Partizan is well-trained and knows all the commands.
