Cat Sylva*, female, 10 months

Silva was born in the Hatul Madan shelter. Her mother, the cat Turtle, came to us from the de-occupied Irpin.

Turtle was emaciated, pregnant and sick. She gave her beautiful kittens a herpes virus infection. This is a very common infection in cats. In small kittens, it affects the organs of vision, which is why sometimes they completely lose their eyes.

Despite all the efforts of veterinarians, Silva's vision could not be completely saved. She was very sick, and her eyes will never look like those of healthy cats. However, Silva sees. Despite everything, she is a very affectionate and playful kitten, and she is waiting for people who will accept her for who she is.
