Panteleimon was rescued by the Kyiv Animal Rescue Team after becoming trapped in the wall of a pharmacy. Following his rescue, the cat came under the care of the "Khatul Madan" shelter. Panteleimon suffers from a range of serious health issues and is currently undergoing treatment. Due to musculoskeletal damage, he experiences severe pain and has great difficulty moving. X-ray results reveal spondylosis of the thoracic and lumbar spine, pronounced osteochondrodysplasia of the hock joints in both hind limbs, and bony growths on the ventral surface of the vertebrae. Diagnostic tests have also detected enlarged lymph nodes, fluid in the abdominal cavity, and anemia. Additionally, Panteleimon has kidney issues that require further investigation, specifically an SDMA test. Severe inflammation and serious dental problems necessitate a dedicated dental examination and treatment. Panteleimon requires comprehensive treatment, pain management that takes his kidney condition into account, and long-term veterinary monitoring. According to the available information, his lifelong needs also include glucosamine and chondroitin supplements, as well as the product "Eveksia" as part of his supportive therapy.
