Veterinary bills are one of the shelter's largest expenses. Tests and check-ups for evacuated animals, emergency and scheduled surgeries, treatment of chronic conditions — all of this requires enormous resources. Every month we receive animals that have survived injuries, poisoning, and extreme exhaustion. Without timely care, they would not have made it.
