Aegeus is a serious, quiet cat who has clearly suffered a lot during his short life. He came to our shelter from Toretsk, straight from the shelling, with real post-traumatic syndrome. Aegeus is very frightened by loud sounds and sudden movements, and most of all he values silence, tasty treats and the opportunity to sleep peacefully in safety. So far, Aegeus always looks very tired and is just learning to trust people. With those who behave quietly and carefully, he slowly reveals himself as a good and gentle boy, and may even sleep in the arms of people who have won his trust. This cat needs a quiet home without small children and fuss, and a responsible, loving person who will help Aegeus gradually recover from his psychological trauma.
Unfortunately, due to the hard life on the street, Aegeus is sick with feline viral immunodeficiency. Feline viral immunodeficiency is absolutely not dangerous for people and all animals except other cats. Therefore, Aegeus can only be the only cat in the house. This disease is not a death sentence; a cat can live a long, rich life with proper care and attention. You can read more about this here: https://hatul-madan.org/blogs/FIV
